Olympians
The Olympian club at the Genesee Country Church meets each Sunday from 11:30AM to 1:00PM. Word of Life’s Olympian children’s ministry program is built on a powerful goal: to lay a solid foundation of biblical principles at a young age in the lives of children. We want to teach them, from the very start, the important fundamentals of spiritual growth.
The Olympian ministry is built on a recurring metaphor used by the Apostle Paul; the Olympic athlete. Paul uses this illustration to exhort fellow Christians to “finish the race.”
Word of Life Teens
Genesee Country Church has a vibrant youth ministry for teen from grades 7-12. Join us on Sundays from 11:30AM to 1:00PM as we play games, fellowship, eat snacks, and most importantly open the Word of God together to nourish our souls.
Each week we challenge ourselves to memorize scripture and to complete our daily Quiet Times. We hold regular community service events and social activities including the area Word of Life Battlezone event and Slopstacle race. Each year we also attend WOL's Reverb overnight activity and an Inner-city Christmas service!
We are a loving, God-centered group that is welcoming to young people interested in being part of the family of God and desiring to answer the call that God has for their life! Jeremiah 29:11
Men's Bible Study
Every Saturday morning at 7:00AM, the men meet to enjoy a little breakfast and to explore the profound writings known as the Word of God. For a fun atmosphere, we meet at the (heated) garage beside 6545 Snyder Rd. Oakfield, NY 14125.
Women’s Bible Study
The ladies meet every Monday. Two options: 10:00AM at the home of Diane Dart, or 6:30PM at the church (chapel room). We would love to have you join us!
What Is Stephen Ministry?
We are a Stephen Ministry congregation!
Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
