Our History

In 1980, the Lord laid it upon the heart of Rev. Herbert Durr to plant an evangelical Bible church here in Oakfield.  On August 15, 1980, we held our first service outdoors in the yard of the present property.  There were thirty-three people in attendance, including 21 adults & 12 children.

Today

We have grown in number, but still enjoy the warmth of a close-knit family in Christ.  We have an easy-going, eclectic worship style that welcomes fellow worshipers and has something for everyone.  Whether you are in your best dress or your favorite jeans, we welcome you to come worship with us, just as you are.  Together we will learn a new praise and worship chorus, or sing again one of the classic hymns that we all love so much. 

We offer programs for children, including a staffed nursery during each service.  We also hold several small group Bible Studies for men and women throughout the week. 

From the smallest of babies to our dear senior saints, there is a place for you in our church family.
